There has been a lot of talk and of crying about hunters for a long time. Well, we have to admit that the class had some PvP-changes in the last patch (5.3).
If you follow the talks on the forums, you will see that for a while, there has been a lot of complaints. Players were complaining that they are doing too little damage (hunters) and other players complaining that they are doing too much damage (roughly, every other classes).
Because of this long talk and many complaints, Blizzard made some drastic changes to the hunter class, and Blink Strike was turned into a passive ability allowing the pet’s basic attacks to deal 50 % increased damage and usable from 30 yards away (besides causing the pet to teleport behind the target).
This was causing incredibly high damage in PvP especially when used in line with Stampede.
The latest reset and hotfixes changed that.
Since a lot of players (hunters) were complaining about these change, the manager of the Blizzard Community, Nakatoir, stepped in to give some clarification (in the thread: Hunter nerfs probably inc wednesday).
