If you’re tired of getting the same old stuff back from AH unsold, there’s only one way to go: Sell it to a vendor.
But wait – before you do so, there are ways to squeeze out a lot more gold from these items.
Unsold Cloth
Incase you don’t sell your cloth to the outrageous reasonable prices you’ve put it up for in AH, you can get more from the vendor by transforming them first.
If you have Netherweave Cloth you want to sell, then check out the prices in AH. If you are not able to make more than 3 Gold for a stack of 20 Netherweave Cloth, don’t sell it there.
Don’t sell it to the vendor either.
Use First-aid to turn them into Heavy Netherweave Bandage (20 cloth -> 10 bandages), and sell them to the vendor. He will pay you 3 Gold for 10.
If you are not high level enough in First-Aid (360), ask a friend to make them for you instead.
You can use the same trick with Runecloth, Mageweave and Silk, but you will not gain far as much, and prices in AH would probably be higher.
Unsold Fish or Meat
If you couldn’t sell your fish or meat in AH, it can be sold to a vendor, of course, but if you have cooking, you’ll get more for each item, when it’s cooked than if it’s raw. And it should only take some cooking fire to transform it. Well worth some extra seconds.
