If you are fond of AH, like I am, you know your prices. At least, the prices of the most common things you sell and buy, so you can quickly get a bargain.
For this, you can use different add-ons like Auctioneer or Auctionator (or both) which are the most popular (not my favorite but I will speak about that in a later article).
There is one more tool that is really important and that very few people use. A tool which keeps an eye on all the Auctions Houses in the World of Warcraft (US and EU): Horde, Alliance and Neutral.
There is one tool that keeps track of everything that happens on the server: From what are the hot items, to advices about posting time and other important things.
I want to speak to you about The Undermine Journal. You can either read the great and interesting articles, which are, in fact, adapted to your realm, or you can check out the hot items (top of page), or just write any item you want to sell in the search field and study the average price, how many have been put on sale, how big were the stacks, the availability history, who sold to what price, time of posting, etc…. A bunch of data for the last two weeks.
If you are in doubt about some items (a pet, for example) you can check out which faction will give most gold for it, you can see if it is worth posting now or later and all the data you need to make the right choice.
If you want you can get the Undermine Journal to keep an eye on certain items and to send you a mail when they are available at a certain price. If you are making a search for, say, Ghost Iron bar, then, at the bottom of the page you will see something like: Want to know when [Ghost Iron Bar] costs less than ***g per stack?.
By clicking on the link, you can get a warning in your e-mail.
The Undermine Journal is a very good tool that can be of very valuable help if you want to dominate your Auction House. There is an introductory video of 5 minutes or so if it is your first time on the page.
Use it, you won’t regret it!
