Now… We all need honor from time to time. First, you can buy nice PvP gear with it, trinkets and all, and then you can also buy heirlooms for your low levels or even motes of harmony.
Problem with honor, if you are on a mostly PvE realm, is that it might be a bit difficult to come by. In this tip, you will learn how to get 200 honor a day without doing much (you have to be level 73+ to be able to do that).
Head towards Grizzly Hills, on Northrend. If you are Alliance, fly to Amberpine Lodge. If Horde, fly to Conquest Hold.
Now head towards the river. You can see that there are a couple of islands in the middle.
Close to the shore there are quest givers with blue exclamation mark upon their head. They offer you a quest called Blackriver Skirmish. You will have to kill 10 enemy players or NPC’s on the island. Generally, there are plenty of (lootable) NPCs to pick up so it goes pretty fast.
Kill 10 NPC’s or players (of YOUR level, of course!) and get back to the quest giver. Bling! 50 honor points and gold and eventually XPs.
After that, head south to Venture Bay. On the island on the western side, you will have Horde’s quest givers and on a little triangular island on the eastern side, you will have the Alliance’s quest givers.
Three of the quest givers will give you quests which will give you 50 honor points each.
– Keep Them at Bay (kill 10 enemy players/NPC’s)
– Smoke Em Out (throw smoke-bombs on 20 Venture Company Workers)
– Down with Captain Zorna (Alliance): Kill Captain Zorna (near the ship on the far right, close to Horde’s quest givers.
– Crush Captain Brightwater (Horde): Kill Captain Brightwater (on the ship further on the left, close to Alliance quest givers)
You also have a quest which give 4 honor (Riding the Red Rocket), if your faction has Venture Bay itself, and a quest giving you 1 honor by fetching some fuel from a boat, which debuffs you, and give it to the quest giver. Generally, I don’t waste my time on these two quests.
Just by doing the three other quests, you will get 50 honor for each and then also gold and eventually XPs.
Beware that by accepting the quests Down with Captain Zorna (Alliance)/Crush Captain Brightwater (Horde) and Smoke Em Out, you will enter PvP and will be a possible target for the other faction.
Remember, if you are there with a high level, this is a level 73 and 74 quest area. No need to gank them just because they are in PvP. It won’t give you honor anyway (besides, you wouldn’t have earned honor by acting honorless!).
But with these four quests, pretty easy and quick, you will have at least 200 honor a day. Not bad, he?
