You can level faster, or get reputation faster, every time Darkmoon Faire is in town. It will cost you a bit of coins and a few minutes, but it’s worth it.
First, you have to get to Darkmoon Faire, and that’s easier than ever in Mists of Pandaria. You just talk to one of the kind Faire ladies and ask them to be taken to the faire. This will cost you a bit of silver, but you will save a lot of time.
In a split second, you’ll find yourself just outside the Faire entrance, and when you’ll click the portal, you will get through.
Arrows will guide you from the portal and to the Darkmoon Faire.
At the Faire, there are plenty of entertainments, and you can get cool mounts, buy a balloon, listen to a live band, and more.
You can also ride the carousel, and this is where you can gain the buff called Whee! and gain 10% extra XP and reputation.
All you have to do is to buy tickets (which you can do at the entrance) and OPEN up your ticket book, and one ticket will automatically get extracted from your bag.
You can then ride the carousel (or stand near it, if you’ve killed the child in you) until you see the buff showing 60 minutes. Sometimes, it’s bugged and will only grant you 59 minutes.
Step out of the carousel, and go down to the water, where you’ll find a portal back to your main city. Or you can just use your hearthstone, and get started questing or reputation grinding.
