In this part of the Gold Secrets Guide review, I will take a more thorough in-depth look at each part of the book.
First of all, the number of pages. The latest version, fully updated with lots of images and all the new Cataclysm items, contains 420 pages. This really illustrates how useful this book is. You can look up everything in it and find an answer to your questions about how to make gold in WoW.
The book starts out with a fun tip that I’ve personally overlooked at least ten times. This is not something that will make you gold, but having fun in WoW is essential.

It’s much easier to make gold in World of Warcraft, if you’re high level, however I find it important to mention in this Gold Secrets Guide review that the book doesn’t leave you to yourself, if you’re low level. It has a number of tricks included about how to make gold, when you’re low level. And they work!
As you can see, the eBook is neatly laid out with lots of bookmarks, which makes it easy to look up a particular part of it.
A part that I find really helpful in this World of Warcraft Gold Secrets guide is the map section. You get a quick reference guide to find the different kind of ores. Personally, I always struggle to remember where to get what kind of mineral, and I end up losing a lot of time searching. This map section is new, and I really love it.
If one of your characters have enchanting as a profession, you get a handy chart to use for making the most profits. The chart shows the item name, which should be crafted by a jewel crafter, the materials required, disenchanting skills needed, and the dusts and shards you can expect to receive. Very handy for quick calculations, so you invest your gold correctly to make the most out of it.
You learn how to find rare mobs, and even a sweet trick for finding treasures. I had no idea about that, and I’ve been playing WoW for 2 1/2 years now.
It should also be mentioned in this Gold Secrets Guide review that you get a run-through all the daily quests, starting from Burning Crusade dailies and leading up to the latest Cataclysm daily quests. Even the profession daily quests are there.
Conclusion: This is probably the best gold guide you’ll find, and I highly recommend it. You get free, lifetime updates. You don’t even have to ask for it.
