WoW companions are facinating, as opposed to pets, everybody can have one or several.

You will even have fun getting it.
First of all, you must go to the Saldean’s Farm in Westphal, just south of Sentinel Hill.
Close to the farm house there are lots of white chicken running around, so choose one of them by clicking on it with your left mouse button. Be careful not to kill it.
The following is easier, if you make a macro that goes “/chicken”. Because you might have to write the emote “/chicken” twenty-fifty times, before something happens.
You will look absolutely foolish strutting around, flapping your arms and saying “cluck, cluck, cluck” like a chicken. Enjoy it 😉
All of a sudden you will notice that the chicken looks up at you, and it is no longer yellow, but green. Now is the time to examine it. Right click on the chicken. Now you get a special quest.
You will be told to get some special chicken food, which you can get from the farmer standing in front of the farm house.
Get it, and take care not to eat it yourself by mistake. Don’t worry. You will not end up being a chicken yourself, but you will have to go and buy another sack. You can also get the sack beforehand, and hand in the quest immediately.
Now emote the chicken “/cheers”. It will turn from yellow to green again, and you feed it by right clicking the chicken. It will lay a big egg, and when you take it, you can have your own chicken as a companion.
