It’s great to have a lot of pets and mounts in WoW, but if you’re like me, you typically forget to bring forth your pet, and you always choose the same mount, because it’s handy to use a short cut to mount up.
But if you think it would be cool to randomly pick a different pet every time, you enter a dungeon, walk on the streets, or go through a portal, I have the perfect solution for you.
You can even use the same method to switch between mounts, both on the ground and in the air. (Not at the same time, though, you don’t have to be afraid of falling down by switching from your bird to your elekk.)
If you install an addon called GupPet, it will not only help you select a random pet and mount, but you can also use it to track your collection.
You’ll get an extra toolbar with two buttons: One button for pets, and one button for mounts. You can take out a pet, or use a mount, just by clicking one of these two buttons. Or you can bind them to keys. I use Alt+8 for flying mounts, and Alt+9 for ground mounts. You can read more about key bindings here.
You can choose not to use some of the pets or mounts, just by unchecking them.
And if you look are collecting pets or mounts, you can learn where to get them, just by choosing it on the interface.
Read more about GupPet, and get it from this site: http://wowui.incgamers.com/?p=mod&m=6911
Or do it the easy way. Use Curse Client to keep track of your addons, and install it just by searching for GupPet.
